      Pros

      I enjoyed the actual classroom experience and getting to know my students, but prepping for your first course takes so so much time it is only worth taking this job if you plan to teach at least 3+ courses. Not a good gap year job.

      Cons

      As offices are closing and management becomes internet-based, you don't feel as much of a community.

      Good remote environment while not having a lot of micromanagement.

      Cons

      It's very hard to advance. Promotions seem very hand picked instead of basing them on merits.
