Pros
- get to work with some of the smartest people you'll ever meet - remote workforce allows for terrific work/life balance and lots of flexibility - plenty of autonomy to make decisions, run the business, and your day as you see fit - opportunity for creative work, building relationships, and meeting interesting people - get to meet and help college students on their way to becoming amazing people, very rewarding
Cons
- disorganized from top to bottom, poor planning and execution of marketing campaigns year after year - some of the worst fiscal management I've ever seen from any company, and unforgivable for a company this size - constant "reorganizations" i.e. layoffs -- line-level employees paying the price for a decade of poor management at the top - lack of transparency, decisions made by very few people at the top, none of whom are challenged for their terrible ideas and no accountability for said terrible ideas - subpar-to-laughable pay for the level of revenue and market size responsibility. This is an entry level job or a job for someone who is looking for a decent pay but flexible hours (parents with young kids.) Not competitive salary or bonuses compared to similar sales jobs
