Pros
Unlimited PTO and flexible working conditions (WFH / Austin / remote). Opportunity to move horizontally if interested (I worked in 2 different roles in my time there and learned a lot). There are STILL some really awesome talented people at Kasasa. Company really does care about your wellbeing (Love Fund is proof).
Cons
Pay. What you sign up for is what you will have for quite a while, so be happy with it. Performance =/= pay here. Going above and beyond may get you recognition, but don't expect a raise. You are more likely to get a culture award medal than an annual merit increase (seriously). Your performance review is a formality - raises are set on a timeline. Very chaotic at the top and everyone downhill feels it (especially as the org gets flatter after one or more layoffs each year since 2019). This combined with sub-par pay and bigger workloads can lead to burnout. Make sure you're getting what you need/want out of this job for your next gig.
