Pros
Speaking for the North America branch. Some truly great engineers and managers across departments and business units. Many 10-20 year vets have been amazing mentors and coaches. IMO, 80% of the company lives and dies by the knowledge, experience, guidance of these ~20% of miracle workers.
Cons
SLT is either clueless about how stressed & understaffed many teams are, or willfully ignore it. 2021 saw Kautex throw resources at expanding Europe and Asia ops, while leaving North America branch stagnant and devoid of opportunity for growth. Turnovers piled up. No plan to backfill for loss of talent. Remaining staff overworked. SLT dances around any question regarding talent retention or operating budget. Only a matter of time before the most productive staff also give up and move on.
