Was with company for 5+ years and enjoyed for the most part until they partook in the wokeness that is affecting many companies, sadly. I hit the ceiling salary-wise, so I was staying for the paycheck; but I worked my butt off. I was respectful to talent and coworkers, but one talent was trans. Fine, it wasn't my first. Long story short, this talent tried to throw me under bus after giving them multiple chances to take drug test. I respected their wish to be called a specific name, but they went to management stating I used "birth name." (They were angry that I didn't move forward with them after 4 chances to take drug test). My boss called to tell me this person complained but boss stated I did things 100% correctly (all communication is logged). I was upset and proceeded to vent how upset that made me that they tried getting me fired. Boss kept using pronouns and taking talent's side! I told boss I refuse to use pronouns but that I was respectful to talent. I was fired a couple of days later for not being "inclusive." Not once was I disrespectful, I just didn't want to use pronouns. I guess quality of work doesn't matter anymore......watch out. Wokeness is #1 priority these days!
