Pros

We provide career development opportunities through training and education. There are opportunities for advancement as we continue to grow with programs designed to identify and develop mentors and future emerging leaders. Our leadership team is strong, caring, and supportive to their staff and one another. With a strong “Act like an Owner” culture, Kemper focuses on open communication, collaboration, diversity, and inclusion. Townhalls are held quarterly with transparent conversations about the company, its financial performance, and how they're employee-focused.

Cons

Kemper has established procedures and processes that take time some time to learn but continued training/calibration is provided as needed. There is an emphasis on data quality, so the systems require quite a few data entry points. We are returning to work in the office but still providing for a hybrid work schedule.

Cons

High caseloads and demanding workloads can make it challenging to maintain work life balance. The job can be stressful at times due to deadlines, customer expectations, and the volume of claims.
