Pros

Free lunches and spirit days from time to time

Cons

The communication of Keplr corporate with its private practice counterparts is SEVERELY lacking (especially in the HR department). It will take your managers weeks or possibly months to get you a clear answer on something. No one follows through on their promises. Upon leaving, I asked for an exit interview and was told yes by my manager and of course no one reached out to me. It is very clear that this company considerate their employees as numbers and not as actual people. It is frustrating and leaves people feeling disrespected and unheard. Steer clear of this company if you are an associate doctor… there will be no respect for you. Only for the selling doctor. You are just a pawn in the entire transition. After the acquisition by Keplr of the practice I was an associate at, Keplr reverted my salary back to what I was making 3 years prior, they stopped my PTO from accruing, they took away 1 week of PTO, they wouldn’t give me a straight answer on what professional dues would be covered, and there was ZERO communication with me about any of this beforehand. I have nothing against private equities - I am now working for a different PE, but Keplr is so disorganized and does not do their due diligence of respecting associate OD’s and recognizing their worth and power within the practices they are acquiring. Beware.

Pros

Absolutely NONE. Has given me the knowledge to know I will never work for a corporate company again.

Cons

Bold face lying to your face, setting you up to fail, using your past against you, preference towards females who "play the game", wanting only YES people, lack of care for how this job affects your life, promised promotions that never happen, not being paid appropriately for your job title, walking the line of noncompliance in most areas, lots of grey area in regards to legality with commercial and government payers, HR is there for the company only, do NOT bother reaching out to them to express any concerns without retaliation, the disgusting amount the executive team and their minions get paid while they underpay the REAL workers who provide all of the details and do all the work for them to just regurgitate YOUR work.
