      You have the ability to work with some of the best traders in the world, the firm provides you capital to trade with, and having it on your resume can open doors if trading doesn’t work out.

      Cons

      Trading is hard. You probably shouldn’t do it if you don’t have a niche, have years of experience, and already a profitable trader. It isn’t a 9-5, you have to execute.

      Pros

      It was cool to share the trading floor with a bunch of other traders. Enjoyed company happy hours. Good tech and back office. Hands off management

      Cons

      Affiliated with SMB Capital by name only, Mike and Steve would show up on occasion, it was like no one even knew them. very different management and trading styles. Floor manager has too much clout, He wants everyone to swing trade like him.
