Pros
-more money than your strategy could trade (even a piker prop trader there was could run a $5M+ account in a few months from starting) -progressive in devising strategies -excellent platform -cool facilities -catered lunch/snacks -management positivity; managers/owners that were truly gr8 traders
Cons
-only one: a rogue employee that made corrections to my daily PNL report and mysteriously found large batches of losing trades, on two occasions, at least 2 weeks after the trades happened, over the course of multiple days. Yes this was a long time ago (hint: over 20 years ago). Being young and stupid, I did not keep those daily printouts and just quit. -make that two: the commissions seemed ridiculous at the time (remember, this was a LONG time ago). it was like $30 per thousand shares when you figured all the costs and Scottrade, which I was consistently hyper-profitable at, was $7 for infinite shares.
