Pros

KDP offers the chance to work on iconic brands and collaborate with some of the sharpest people in the industry. If you're looking to build brand experience or grow your marketing skill set, there’s real opportunity here.

Cons

Senior leadership normalizes overwork and dysfunction. Unless you have a manager with real influence—and a willingness to shield you—you may find yourself blamed for systemic issues and pushed beyond your limits. As the company grows, roles continue to expand without added headcount or appropriate leveling, and those who raise concerns are often sidelined. HR is not a neutral party; more often than not, they reinforce the toxicity rather than resolve it. If you take a role at KDP, go in clear-eyed. Set boundaries early, advocate for yourself, and stay vigilant.
