Pros
Great community placement, very environmentally aware, very community aware. Great opportunities for learning. Strong support for your employee's during Community crisis.
Cons
Doesn't reward employees for work well done. Departments are isolated islands. You get a great manager, you're golden. You get a bad one and you're isolated. Typical overtime and extra effort is expected, so working 60+ hour weeks can be common and unrewarded. Particularly if you're exempt and don't get paid overtime.
