Pros
1) My peers are awesome. As a relatively new engineer, I never imagined I'd be exposed to so many individuals willing to show me the ropes and fast track my career. 2) Great work life balance. I could show up at 5am or 11am and leave as early as 2pm. Managers are very accommodating to people's personal lives. I never work on the weekends.
Cons
1) I disagree with decisions made by upper management within in my organization. I'm not sure how they're "cooking the books" but it there's too many short sided decisions. I'd prefer to see them make long term investments. They're only focused on this year or quarter and aren't making decisions for next or the following year. 2) Some managers within my organization have a track record of failure. Why are these people managers?!
