Cool tech, you get to work from home, and have work-life balance
Cons
The majority of the core people passionate about the problem space and knowledgeable of the product stack left. The ones left in charge are those who were singing the tune the GM wanted to hear. Everyone is an expert, so you end up with too many chefs in the kitchen as a daily occurrence, incapable of making a decision because everyone is opinionated. There have been no opportunities for growth or promotions since I joined 5 years ago. Not ran as a tech company, nor with the compensation of one, nor with the desire to build the best product or innovate. "Garbage in garbage out" gets used daily to refer to the products by the people in charge of them.
