Pros
The pay is fairly good, you can’t really complain. There isn’t much to the work, but there is overtime opportunities due to lack of employees.
Cons
You sit and do virtually nothing for several hours a day. Depending on clients they can be very troubling to assist. The program is meant to help people, but there are no incentives to do so. Most clients seem to use services as housing. There is also no raise unless the county raises the budget or you get a promotion. Don’t work here if you’re ambitious. You work here for 10 years and you get paid the same as the new guy.
