Pros

There are some genuinly great people working at Kforce

Cons

Kforce has some of the worse management I've experienced. They simply do not care to listen to what you say. I had multiple meetings with mgmt trying to detail my findings of client accounts but it was clear that they did not care what I was saying. They also dont care about concerns of employees in regards to the office enviornment. Half if not more of the office turned in the past year and you can literally feel the stress in the room when you walk in. Some weeks 2 or more people even quit. People arent hitting numbers or receiving training that actually benefits them. Corportate flew out all the sales team to Florida for a new training they "paid millions" for (we had to hear this repeatedly during the training) but failed miserably at actually executing the material. Theres no clear direction or message of this company. They would rather hire a lot of people and just see who sinks or swims vs actually investing time towards training and helping new hires. Their mentality is that they can do no wrong and that their employees are to blame for how poorly the company is doing. They tout that they're a billion dollar company, yet they could only afford Newport Beach for their PIP trip. They also claim they have a great commission structure but it's actually almost insulting how little they pay. Dont let them giving you a decent base fool you. There's a good chance you wont be making even $200 in commission per month by the time you've been there for a year. Every workplace has some sort of favortisim, but this place blows it out of the water compared to others. Management would be best friends with certain members of the office and literally gossip abt the other employees. Often times management would barely even acknowledge the ones they werent close to. Lastly, it's just an incredibly immature environment. Managers calling out employees to their peers for being sick and calling out former employees for quitting are just two examples. It's a toxic place to be and just not worth it.

Pros

Decent salary base, probably could be a really good paying job if the job market was better

Cons

Definitely a typical, corporate sales culture where you are defined by your metrics and your metrics only. They are money grabbers, and their commission structure isn't that great. After 2 years you lose 50% of your commission from contractors and they eliminated early release days before holidays. My office started becoming a "bro culture" and the leader was clearly trying to act like "one of the guys" with the males in the office. If your market is slow with reqs, they expect you to reach out to other offices for subs which is hard to do when other offices favor their own teams' recruiters. They'll likely give you a picked over req or one not close to the money that their own team didn't want to work on. I had to reach out to other offices daily to basically beg for a req to work on to hit my metrics. To add to it, the PTO structure for salaried employees is not how they described it when I joined. 17 PTO days total (including sick/personal time btw) and it is actually accrued throughout the year. I had to use PTO for sick time and a vacation, so when I left I had to write them a check for my balance! Talk about a way to really give someone the boot when they're on their way out the door.
