I was so excited to work here since I am a CJ major and was hoping to gain the experience with working with youth. The type of verbal abuse the staff uses towards the children is insane. In training they make it seem like they follow their regulations and rules completely. That is far from the truth. Also in residential the lobby's near the kids rooms are so dirty. The staff tell the children how annoying they are and how problematic they are. A comment was said that they even give the children higher doses of their medication just to see the reaction! That was the last day I set foot in the building even reported this to the office and higher ups they ignored my emails and did not care much. It was sad to watch someone who is trying to really make a difference in the youth do not belong here.
