Where do I even start! Extremely LOW PAY, absolutely NO raises! Everything You learned in the Two Week Training is absolute BS! Kid's are absolutely AWFUL, and they absolutely will HURT YOU every chance they get, without ANY consequences whatsoever! Team Leads are terrible, they don't train you and they treat you like trash! The Hospital is the WORST place to be working at Kidspeace! This job should pay a minimum of $22.00 a hour! All the nurses hide in their office and do absolutely nothing all day but take one blood pressure and hand out pills in a cup and they stay in the office and talk the rest of the time! When you complain about what is happening they do absolutely nothing but offer to move you somewhere else, within the hospital! They have forced mandate days, they don't care if you were burnt out or tired or if you have an appointment or a life they force you to work even if you don't want to or you're in pain on your mandated day so say your day shift and you have to be there at 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. if they mandate you you're stuck there till 11:30 p.m. but expected to be back at work at 7:00 a.m. the next day! They keep employees so overworked and tired they don't have a chance to find another job they're only option is to just quit! Their turnover rate is the highest I've ever seen in any company! They tell you this is a non-profit organization but don't believe that this is absolutely a company for profit! The children are not treated well there like they tell you they are going to be treated and training the staff there are terrible to them and scream at them a lot and yell at them and blame them in front of other clients! You're not supposed to touch the children yet I see that happening all the time I even see them picking them up and carrying them like they're their children! They will and have denied breaks for a full shift! The only people that give good reviews are those that are in upper management positions who don't have to do a lot and are paid a very large salary or the nurses that don't do much that are paid a large salary! You won't find any one other than those people that other don't deal with children or that are paid a very high salary that are going to give a good review I don't know any mental health technicians that will give you a good review! The mental health technicians are the ones that keep this going we are the ones that are forced to deal with the danger every day and these kids and our work to the Bone and burnt out yet you want to pay us a disgusting wage that even Walmart pays employees more to work there! You claim that you don't have the money to pay more than you do and it's supposed to be for the benefit of the children will let me tell you something that's not true you pay all your upper management very high salaries and the nurses get paid very high salaries you just don't care about your mental health technicians you treat them like dirt! They also pay mental health technicians who have a bachelor's degree $2 more an hour to do the exact same job that another mental health technician does just because they don't have that stupid degree they don't get that money and that to me is insulting and disgusting you're saying that just because you don't have a degree you're not worthy to make the same amount of money! If I could give zero Stars I would! I'm already looking for another job!
