Pros

- YoY growth and projection is extremely high with 2 established PMF products and more in the cooking. - The leadership team has matured significantly with the addition of the new CTO and advisor, who brings deep leadership experience from both big tech and startups. We’re seeing clearer growth paths for employees, more guidance on collaboration, and stronger structures to address growing pains company at this stage typically experience. We are seeing effect of these changes, and I'm confident they will continue leading to a stronger and more sustainable culture. - "Act Like an Owner" and "Keep the Toes Short" are two most distinctive values at Kikoff that in my opinion sets it apart from other and larger companies I've worked at. People are encouraged to bring ideas to the table and pursue work they find valuable. In general, there’s little concern about stepping on others’ toes, as the culture explicitly promotes building in open and shared ownership, and there is way more stuffs to do than people we have. - You work with super smart and dedicated people, who like to challenge the status quo and build cool solutions to solve problems (eg. There were more than 50 hackweek projects in one hack week, including one where some engineers built system to monitor toilet availability at office lol)

Cons

- Not really a con in my opinion, but fair warning: this is not a place for complacency, coasting and riding along, or people who can’t roll up their sleeves and get into the weeds. - There is an overall tendency to focus on things with immediate metric impact to fuel the growth we need. We’d benefit from more long-term thinking and work that either creates new values to more users, or build a new technology moat or uplevel the internal team.

Pros

-Fair compensation, reasonable work-life-balance, and good in-office perks -People at Kikoff are genuinely some of the nicest and smartest people I've ever worked with -Good growth opportunity for people looking to push the boundaries of their responsibility

Cons

-Company feels like a startup quickly growing up, with a lot of processes and guardrails being established. This can at times feel like culture is being changed/eroded. -Upper management is sometimes a little opaque about goals and directions, more transparency will allow everyone at the company to better align on prioritization.
