The work environment could benefit from greater trust in employees, more objective performance evaluations, and a stronger focus on teamwork and results The expectation for extra effort often translated into a minimum of 45+ hours per week, which made achieving a healthy work-life balance challenging. Employees were often expected to be fully on-site, which reflected a management style based more on oversight and monitoring rather than trust and flexibility
