Average pay and benefits. Normally a 40 hour work week.

There are three ways to achieve a high paying position. • Friend or family of upper management (i.e. director level or above). • Native of Bolivia (subcategory of family and friends). • Former Shell employee. This is not an exaggeration, the amount of nepotism and cronyism is unbelievable! If HR actually implemented a policy preventing relatives from working and even supervising each other 2/3 of the staff would be eliminated. This would stop all productivity as a few people do all the work for the friends and family network as qualifications are not a requirement for employment. This is the cheapest upstream oil and gas company in the country. Saving money is normally a good thing; however they will spend a dollar to save a dime. Standard policy is to pay an extra $1,800 on a company truck to have the power windows and door locks removed.

The management is terrible, and they’re selective when it comes to taking disciplinary action. Promotions are based on who you know, not on your skills or knowledge.
