KinderCare is a national chain and most of the decisions are made within the corporate offices. Because of the size of the organization, employees often feel torn between what is right for a child and family and what the budgetary requirements allow them to do. The marketing department puts out ad slicks promising parents an exemplary experience for their child while, at the same time, the operations department cuts funding and staffing making it impossible to meet educational goals.
