Pros

Other clinicians are nice and usually helpful

Cons

The company has been sold so many times it is ridiculous. The turn over is insane because the expectations are unrealistic. Corporate acts like they care but everyone knows they could care less and don't mean a word that they say. They want you to be perfect but set you up to fail because there is no way to do all they ask. The company has really gone down hill. For such a large company, their insurance stinks and they will rarely give raises. They say they want to do the right things but all they want is to make more money ....we all know it. Of course when things go wrong, they conveniently forget that they pushed us to do the things they are now preaching about.

Pros

- Patient population provides excellent sense of purpose and accomplishment

Cons

Prospective clinicians should exercise extreme caution before accepting a position at this facility. During my time here, I experienced a severe lack of administrative and clinical support during a critical patient safety event. When I advocated for a patient whose acuity had clearly escalated beyond the capabilities of the current unit, management repeatedly refused to facilitate a higher acuity unit transfer. This left me to manage a dangerously unstable clinical situation almost entirely alone, directly compromising patient safety and creating an environment ripe for adverse events. Rather than offering support and conducting a constructive review of the system failures that led to this stress, administration chose to retaliate. When I took time off to process the intense distress caused by their clinical negligence, management and administration marred my professional record with false accusations regarding my performance and attendance. This facility does not support its frontline staff, ignores critical patient escalation needs, and uses retaliatory tactics to cover up administrative shortfalls. I highly recommend all patients, referral sources, and clinicians, look elsewhere if they value their license and mental well-being.
