Pros
I'm not passionate about eLearning or Learning Management Systems, but I do like my job at Kineo! I've worked here for 7 years and have now held three different positions, starting out as a content writer, then becoming a quality analyst for both our content (eLearning) and platforms (LMS implementation) teams, and am now an Application Engineer for our Client Services (LMS support/maintenance) team. Each time I've switched, it's been because of a combination of personal interest and company suggestion/support. The management team is not perfect, but if you are a self-starter and want to do something different, they'll make it happen to the best of their abilities. The open office is good for collaboration and for peoples' personalities to shine through. A lot of us hang out outside of work and some were even friends before working together. The work-life balance is unmatchable. For the most part, management's attitude is "Get your work done," and that's it. Nobody's watching you clock in or out, and the work from home policy is flexible. I have a life outside of work. The health insurance benefits and other benefits are good and growing.
Cons
We're a technology company, but the actual technology that we use to do our work isn't great, and asking for new equipment can be a bit like pulling teeth.
