I love being a part of a company that truly lives their values each day. I work for Youth Solutions, one of KG’s subsidiaries, and I’m constantly inspired by the supportive, mission-driven culture. My coworkers across the state are passionate, collaborative, and genuinely care about making a difference. One of the best parts is how people from different teams and subsidiaries show up for each other - whether it’s job fairs, youth events, or graduations, there’s always a strong sense of teamwork with the goal of a positive, community and/or statewide impact. It feels like everyone is working toward the same big-picture goal, and that makes the work incredibly fulfilling.

For those of us who live farther from the main office, traveling for all-team meetings a couple of times per year (that may not always directly apply to someone who lives hours away's day-to-day work) can be a bit of a challenge. That said, the intention behind bringing everyone together is clear - it’s about connection and culture - but it can still be a heavy lift logistically for remote staff.

Our commitment to community outreach is evident—from organizing job fairs to partnering with Feeding America through mobile food truck events and more. Even though I don't work directly with the public, I still feel deeply connected to the organization’s many successes.
