Pros

Local Free parking My last day Absolutely nothing else

Cons

* Poorly managed by Customer Service Management, who have absolutely no idea how to run a department, leaning heavily on the Team Leaders to do the job for them. * CS Management will hold a daily "Morning Meeting" where they'll take pride in speaking to staff like 5 year olds and utter garbage. Their perfectionist attitude of "you must all do better, this is not good enough" means colleagues start every day with a negative vibe. * Micro Management: a Team Leader will walk around with a pen and pad to ask you how you're doing, what needs to be done and how much work is outstanding EVERY HOUR. You are watched, checked up on and scrutinised every minute of the working day. * If you dare to complain or disagree about anything you will be publically humiliated by CS management with threats of being "hunted down" and reprimanded for your actions, in front of everyone. * If you get on the wrong side of the Trainers then expect it to turn into "witch hunt" and be bullied accordingly. They will then check and intentionally decline all your work, for any small reason they can find, setting you up to fail the 6 monthly probation period. * Absolutely NO flexibility with working hours, you will start at 08:15am and not a minute later. If you arrive even 2 minutes late, even with a good excuse, the CS Management will roll their eyes and make some sarcastic, derrogatory remarks in front of the whole team, in order to humiliate and embarrass you. * Favouritism: there are people in the department who are clearly "favourites" Your holiday days will be declined just in case "favourite" colleagues might want to book them! The "favourites" however, will be granted any time off they want. * Training is terrible and was carried out by an incompetant trainer, using old fashioned techniques, which were not executed in a professional manner. This made the position even more complicated to learn. Training was cut short due to everyone being off sick (constantly) Management will put your training on hold for several weeks and then penalise you for not progressing at a speed which they deem satisfactory. * Poorly executed ordering processes means your work has to be checked by yourself then by the trainer, then by a Frontliner and finally checked by a Detailer. Their complex and bespoke orders are more or less impossible to process without any errors. Customers have to wait for an eternity before their ridiculously lengthly "checking" process is complete. This leaves them frustrated and angry. * Any order errors will be marked with a big red REJECTION sheet for everybody to see. Just another way to embarass you in front of your colleagues. * Sickness: the department has an increased rate of sickness and there are a lot of colleagues who are constantly, so-called, "sick" (including lower management) Those with permanent contracts get away with it because Management are too afraid to say anything to them. Others, who are not on the "favourites list" will be questioned, even if their sick days are minimal. Also, don't expect any sympathy if you're genuinely sick, your health and sickness is of no importance to management. * Appointments: you will only be allowed to take these if you use your holiday days. If taken during worktime then you will be made to make the time up. Appointments will only be approved IF those on the "favourites list" haven't already asked for time off. * Salary: it's not that interesting considering the amount of work and pressure you'll be expected to endure. Also, don't believe the promises of a yearly bonus because that never happened either. * Holidays: the company will deduct at least 4 from your annual allowance due to a forced shut down over the Christmas period. Management will often choose when you use the rest of your holiday days, not you, by refusing your prefered days off and suggesting different ones. * To finalise: at the end of the ridiculously long probabion period, they will just sling you out onto the street with no more than a couple of days notice. Promises of references are just all lies because the HR Dept have a standard template stating "We don't give references to anyone" However, most people just leave on their own accord, well before the 6 months sentence has come to an end. * My favourite day at Kingspan was the day i decided to leave.
