Pros

The salaries at Kirkland are competitive.

Cons

Poor management. Little or no opportunities for growth. The firm has grown so quickly it feels more like a factory than a law firm. There is little or no real opportunity for social interaction between practice groups. People do not have a chance to meet or become friends. The managing partnership and administrative managers do not have people management skills. Associates working long hours under the direction of partners with no management skills are miserable. reviews and feedback are not valuable because they are handled to create change, they are simply complying with a requirement. No one seems to care as much about the firm's success as about their own personal success.
