Pros
The 5-day work week along with having school holidays off and working only 5 1/2 hours per day.
Cons
No training, horrible pay, food service workers start off with minimum wage, and no benefits, unorganized training from management, workers with little or no experience are just thrown out into work and automatically expected to know how things are supposed to be done. If something is done wrong you will be reprimanded for doing it wrong despite no one telling you or showing you how it is supposed to done. There is always risks such as getting burned by hot food, dropping hot food, and not to mention always trying not to slip on wet floors. You have to be extremely careful not to overwork yourself or cause accidents, remember you are not insured so you will be footing your own medical bills.
