Pros
There are wonderful teachers who truly care about the children they teach, commit themselves despite low salaries and spend a lot out of pocket to make it work. A number of administrators have not lost touch with why they are in education and try their best to comply with rules, guidelines, and laws in an ever-increasing political environment ruled by principals who are incestuously embedded with key leadership and the ousting of committed professionals.
Cons
Superintendent is an overpaid incompetent, uninterested in the children. He spent over $100k for marketing slogans to advertise for his next Superintendent job so he can earn more than the $340k he makes today. Along with the ever-growing cadre of former cheerleaders who've never spent time in the classroom making more than $200k / year while teachers have declining healthcare at increasing costs and lower pay scales, all to pay for the increasing number of Directors and Executive Directors who have "administrated" their way from one school district to another avoiding disgrace but leaving a trail of failure in their wake. All the while trampling on the backs of highly committed, experienced professionals who command true respect for their service from the people they serve.
