Is 45 over the hill? - Teacher Klein ISD Employee Review

People who are tapped for "leadership" are often under 35 and meet a specific aesthetic. I am left to wonder if we are hiring for the job skills the individual brings or some other factor. Company website says that administrators have to be a part of the Leadership pipeline/fully certified to hire for certain positions, and yet an AP position at the newest high school was filled with a not yet certified individual. Were there certified people over 40 who applied for the job? Yes. Was the hired AP under 40 and yet hired with out a certification in place? Yes. It looks very muck like Klein ISD engages in discrimination based on age.
