Pros

Great people! As a consulting business, the people are the lifeblood of an organization. I have been working at Kleinfelder for many years and have traveled to offices across our global footprint and the one constant is great people. The high caliber personnel that demonstrate a commitment to quality work and client deliver have seemingly endless opportunities.

Cons

The compensation structure including 401k match seem to be at or below industry average although this may be a regional issue. I know the management team is working on incentivizing staff for performance which is a positive development

Pros

Gained a lot of experience in the field Thorough onboarding and training Covered a required certification process Will help immensely for my future Overall, friendly and helpful employees

Cons

6:30 a.m. start time was a tough adjustment, but I ultimately got used to it. I did cry at the end of my time there, because I knew I would miss the people.

Cons

The company has experienced substantial changes in executive C-Suite leadership, and current management appears disconnected from the realities of supporting and engaging employees effectively. Ongoing organizational restructuring makes it nearly impossible to build a consistent career development plan within a given role.
