Pros
The "worker bees" (& even some managers) are fantastic people. I’ve gotten to know some great people as coworkers and friends. Bi-monthly lunches and breakfasts, beautiful office, coffee machine on site.
Cons
Hot & cold management. One day they're supportive and the next the hammer comes down. If you aren't a favorite, good luck. If you ARE a favorite, give it a few weeks. They'll find a reason for you not to be. Pettiness is everywhere. EVERYWHERE. There is no “flexibility” because the moment you actually use it, they think you’re abusing it. The favorites of the higher ups who actually DO abuse it get no repercussions. I don’t event think they properly take PTO. HR will regularly leave work in the middle of the day for hair/tan appointments and yet my flex time for children’s doctors appointments got rejected. Disgusting double standard. Pressure to speak well of the company. Piles of bad reviews and then all of a sudden perfect scores - SPECIFICALLY telling you to ignore others’ reviews? Not likely legit. Calling employees who stand up for themselves “bad apples” is so degrading. Also, how do you know an anonymous review is “she” or “her” if you AREN’T in HR keeping track of who likes you and who doesn't? Try harder than that, HR. An entire “con” section full of how the office makes up for no pay isn’t a “con.” HR is obsessed with these reviews, and this response is just sad. Put as much effort into checking in with your employees as you do in writing reviews for yourself. If you're forcing your higher ups to write positive reviews, shame on you. It's pathetic behavior that absolutely disintegrates your integrity as employers.
