Pros
Lots of opportunities to work on projects across multiple disciplines—good work-life balance. Coworkers are a great group of people to work with. Good pay and work-life balance. Do offer a 9/80 work schedule. Compensation was re-evaluated every 6 to 12 months. Opportunity for TA bonus and operation bonus pay.
Cons
Staffing was always an issue. Many young graduates would stay for about two years and then move on to new opportunities. The project workflow process was very inefficient. There is a lot of turn between site business teams on defined scope, significantly impacting project manager time. Always on call for plant upsets. Setting up a time to meet with management to request funds could be difficult. Not sure if the number of meetings leadership sat in on was of value creation for the business.
