Pros

Flexibility in hours, working from home

Cons

Many people end up working on the same programs for years or decades, leading to all sorts of problems Quite a few managers; record of success does not seem to play a big role in their appointments or firings Every time a new trick to pay less: a few years 401k match reduced, now that's back but in 2017 variable pay (~10% of compensation) is withheld

Kodak Alaris Response

Thanks for your comments though it is hard to respond to a couple of your cons since they are very broad generalizations about your coworkers and leaders. Regarding our variable pay it is not a trick to take away pay. It is purposely designed to be based on our business results, like most variable pay plans across industry. In good years, it pays more than target and in bad years less… in one business the bonus paid close to 150% followed by 0% the next year. No tricks to that just inconsistent performance! - Paul (Human Resources)
