Pros
The job itself is a very simple task. Anyone who is willing to learn can do it with ease. You also gain vital experience working in a freight-like setting, which could be beneficial for future jobs. You also get paid weekly (may not be the same for your store!) The dress code is very lenient, so you can dress casually. Supervisors and Management are very open-minded to decisions
Cons
Hours can be and are EXTREMELY limited. You usually are only scheduled when a truck comes in, and even then you are NOT guaranteed hours. Trucks may not come in often. The management likes to add you to a schedule last minute, it can be highly inconvenient. There is heavy lifting involved. Hours can change at a moments notice You sometimes must work very early in the morning, or very late at night
