Pros
discount, Friendly coworkers, that is about it
Cons
I will start by saying anything written is only the Troy store. The company talks about a lot of good things from work life balance to being a very happy family while working. The truth is you get no training we all have to help each other because no one knows what's going on. There is no room for advancement and as of late if you put in a limited schedule you won't be hired and if your a current employee you will just go down to a four hour shift till you quit. Kohls does not pay for having prior experience but they love it when you know how to do what they need done the company just takes and takes from the employee and when you can not help them anymore they are done with you. The store manager is fake and insincere, one supervisor/manager/e3 (all their made up titles are confusing and ridiculous) does not know how to motivate people or have a game plan another one of the one managers with many titles has a very military management style that makes you feel like a three-year-old that does not know how to add 2+2. On their shift you cannot even go to the bathroom unless it is your appointed break time.
