Pros
Fun People. I made tons of friends during my internship and still have a very friendly relationship with both management and associates. Huge amount of diversity of the associates. Always something to do. Some customers are a pleasure to work with and appreciate your hard work. Good place for a part-time position while getting through school. Loved that Kohl's organized days for the associates to donate blood or volunteer together to help local organizations; makes volunteering easy and fun to do with friends. Great community culture within the store.
Cons
Making your (high) Kohl's Charge Card quota is always looming over your head. Sometimes really difficult to find an answer to a question that you don't know for yourself or a customer. Store Management seems to each have different ideas as to how to run things. Never enough time in the day to complete tasks. ALWAYS working on go-backs from the fitting rooms, organizing sections and getting register lines down. Can be really stressful and hard physical labor. Store visits from District managers make everyone frantic and stressed out. ALWAYS starting or stopping sales and customers abuse all Kohl's gracious pricing and return policies.
