I was hired as a seasonal freight associate. Orientation didn't take place until 22 days after my hire date. They wanted us to sign up for a Kohl's charge card at orientation. I was not scheduled to work until 29 days after my hire date. I showed up to my first day at 6am, and nobody was there, they had apparently told me the wrong day. My next day's hours were taken away as well due to this mix up. I was only scheduled 8 hours that week and did not get to work any hours because of their mix up. They were very unapologetic about it. I was told I would start the following Monday instead (34 days from hire date), I showed up at 6am and AGAIN nobody was there. Pay was only $9 an hour. This is no way to treat somebody!
