If you have retail experience or are a hard worker and a quick learner, you will have the opportunity to be overworked and underpaid.
Cons
The climate of retail has become dismal and Kohls suffered with the down turn in the economy. Store budget cuts are reflected in low pay, unimpressive annual raises and the lack of quality store managers. Associates are faced with an overwhelming workload and unachievable, unrealistic goals. Team morale is glum, not the same emphasis on store and team pride. Quality of merchandise has declined markedly in the past few years, customer service, as well as visual and merchandising standards are not what they once were and Kohls reputation has suffered as a result.
