Pros
I took a temporary position for the holidays. Pros are being treated with respect, a team atmosphere, and a fun job. Associates are encouraged to helo customers get all the discounts they have coming ti them. The variety and price of merchandise keeps customers happy. Kohl’s has a philosophy of integrity. It is open and from what I can see fair in a multicultural and diverse environment snd open to employees who are LGBTQ+. Managers listen to employees with concerns. During the hiring interview I was asked about the hours I wanted and didn’t want to work, and there have been no surprises in scheduling. The hiring process was easy. There was a decent orientation program.
Cons
The starting pay is mediocre at best, $10-11 per hour, If the pay were better I would consider staying.
