Pros

Great co-workers. Stacking of coupons and discounts for employees. You will learn about the pricing SCAM that is Kohl's. Very helpful information indeed. Great friends will be made. But I suppose that has nothing to do with Kohl's.

Cons

Bad wages. Bad hours. Credit cards are more important than people. You will be judged based on rather or not you can get guests to sign up for The Kohl's Card. Managers do threaten to and actually cut the hours of POS associates if customers choose not to sigh up for the card. You can be fired for not getting enough credit card applications. Your availability will not be honored. They will schedule you when you cannot work. Then put the blame on you if you cannot find someone to fill your shift. They do not care if you don't get to celebrate the holidays with your family. Profit over people is an appropriate way to explain Kohl's. DON"T GET A KOHL"S CARD!! NEVER apply for a credit card that is not attached to a major credit card. You can get extra coupons @retailmenot . They do not offer competitave pay. You can get fired for calling in during the holiday season. Literally unless you or a close family member has passed away you can be fired. Kohl's Cares........ Propaganda videos during break. Very hard to just get away for a few moments. As they will have video's about how amazing kohl's is on in the break room. That alone will make you consider leaving.
