Pros

Kohl's is a growing company. As they add more stores, districts change, allowing for advancement. Kohl's is a very diverse workplace, allowing you to interact with several different types of people.

Cons

Promotions appear to be entirely related to who you know. The level of experience does not seem to play a part in the promotional decisions made by management. There are also downsides to working in Loss Prevention for Kohl's. You do not answer to the Store Manager, but they still have a say in your pay rate. They do not have to take your advice, but you still have to own the level of compliance in your store.

Pros

None. I was hired to be a person that restocks and cleans, they saw I was able to ring up and put me as a cashier.

Cons

Very little pay, terrible training, horrible management and some terrible customers. Disgusting location also, I went to a manager about toilet paper out in the women restroom, he told me it was a morning task. It was 7pm, the store closed at 11pm! Also CASHIERS ARE LYING YO CUSTOMERS TO GET THEM TO OPEN CREDIT CARDS! Shady stuff I heard as a cashier. Also during my interview no one showed up, when I called the manager made it seem like I was bugging her for my interview
