Pros

- co-workers were nice - surprisingly, most customers were nice - intern trip to Milwaukee was awesome. Met a lot of different interns across the country which was really cool. - if your into retail and actually enjoy it, the intern program is a great way to possibly get into the MIT program which is a good program with a lot of cool benefits - this internship helped me realize that retail is not for me

Cons

- Interns should have been able to choose their summer department - Project was way too extensive for the amount of time the internship was - Pay and hours were horrible... worked every weekend, all weekend - Management puts too much pressure and emphasis on employees to meet credit goals.. an employee can always be late, show up whenever they want but wont be let go as long they are a credit goal star - E3 is a joke lol, they do the same things managers do.. except more work and less pay

Pros

managers can be friendly at times

Cons

Little to no training been working here for almost a year now there’s still something I don’t know every day. What was most difficult for me was being at registers as I was trained in two days by shadowing someone. There are so many situations and problems that will come up every day and you will learn something new! They never taught me about Kohl’s cash, how to read receipts, reprint or edit receipts. They schedule so little so when you do learn something there’s no chance of rehearsal because you come in three weeks later working at a different department.
