Life at Kohl’s - Sales Associate Kohl's Employee Review

Absolutely NO hours! During training, which lasted about 3-4 days, I worked approximately 13 hours. The following week I was scheduled for 8 hours…then 4 hours. They definitely need more floor coverage, so I couldn’t understand why they were giving the sales team so little hours. The fact that there is little to no help for customers, is doing more harm than good. I heard many customers say they would never come back because of it. Now that they’ve installed self checkout registers, there will most definitely be even less hours available for associates that need to work and earn a living. The cashiers were charged to train customers to use self checkout, and now they’re not needed.
