Pros
If you are a part time employee and you can control your hours and you are left alone, then perhaps you can get by.
Cons
Utterly relentless hammering to get customers to sign up for credit eats away at your soul. There is nothing, repeat, nothing, more important to them and for the associate, who is expected to badger people into it, you can expect one buck...one buck..reward. For the store a credit is worth far more than that and it's inequitous. There is little room for ideas that run counter to store ideology and scant regard for any employee who will not speak up for themselves. High staff turnover indicates that there's little to attract the long stayer even if it were easy to get extra hours. They use you, and at slack periods will slash your hours to the bone.
