Pros
cool products and competitive compensation
Cons
Korry is owned by TransDigm which basically buys small aerospace companies and grinds them to the bone. In your interview, they will tell you TransDigm is hands-off and Korry runs on its own. However, senior leaders are constantly making short term decisions to bump quarterly results at the cost of long-term productivity. You will be offered very competitive compensation, but this means you are expected to do the job that 2-3 people did prior to the TransDigm acquisition but with shockingly, antiquated tools and little to no IT support. Korry leadership has not invested in modern software applications to do the work, so don't be surprised if you find yourself carrying around paper forms and constantly restarting your computer. Many of the most important software tools haven't been refreshed since the late 2000s. Lastly, turnover is constant. Don't expect to form relationships with your co-workers or leadership as they will most likely be gone in a few months. All these factors combined make it a miserable place to work with very little upside. oh yea, wifi doesn't work in half the building and everything shuts down when they prep for quality audits just so they can "pass." Diversity in leadership is non-existent.
