Pros

Most regular guests and employees make it more family and friend oriented. The hot doughnuts make it a unique experience for first timers and out of towners. Indeed adds to the nostalgia of the business.

Cons

Nearly half the guests are rude and disrespectful and have wild expectations. The daily grind with regard to distribution and fundraising make it difficult to focus on cultivation of training staff and how to handle the many rude and disrespectful customers that want service Right Now. Heard "I Want" and "Give Me" so often I began to question a great many things with regard to retail service and setting expectations for guests.

nice people to work with, and of course, doughnuts

Cons

extremely understaffed and leadership refuses to backfill while increasing expectations of shrinking teams. long-term, this is not sustainable and people will continue to leave. internal data is a mess, no confidence in outputs and requires a ton of manual calculation
