Pros
The job was challenging yet fun, because of the opportunity to actually interact with the customers while servicing your accounts. You are provided full support of the various departments even when out in the field, say for instance some of your product gets damaged, if you need to replace it or add more product you simply make a phone call and what ever you need is ready when you return to the shop. Unlike most of the other retail sales companies, you DO NOT have to purchase your route or rent your truck to do your job. They have one of the BEST benefit and retirement packages that I have ever seen and it is very easy to utilize those services. Uniforms to include jackets and hats are provided free and work shoes are discounted. If you are a decent salesman or have fair people skills and you can develop a good re-pore with the accounts that you serve, your earning potential can make for a very comfortable and satisfying existence now and when you retire. Was a great place to work and my 401k and stock will serve me well when I finally do retire.
Cons
12 to 14 hour days, a lot of jumping in and out of a truck, and lots of driving unless you don't mind driving.
