Pros

good starting pay (promised auto raises during first 2 years of employment). good starting paid time off (but...). good variety of people and positions.

Cons

poor communication. leadership is eager to ask for suggestions but does nothing on response (including acknowledgment of suggestions). paid time off (starts well, but) does not increase until after working 10 years with the company (not exactly incentive). many issues involving the automatic pay increases and Kroger became weeks (and months) behind in catching up for their employees. not a consistent training plan. high on the woke culture where they (Kroger) believe race and gender are more important than performance and ability. Human Resources had never responded (positive/negative/or just to let me know status) on any of the 3 job postings I had applied for while working at the company. only holidays off at Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day (and those weeks have blackout dates that you are unable to use PTO. schedule was forced to use one weekend day (could not have both Saturday and Sunday as days off). Kroger schedules to many drivers and then ask for volunteers to go home. Kroger employs more drivers than are needed for the work-force. drivers route schedule is often overloaded making driving unsafe when expected to make delivery times and number of stops during window. driver breaks are scheduled, often not close to necessary facilities.
