Pros

The company produces CZT (cadmium zinc telluride) detectors, for cutting edge applications within the medical imaging field, which has the humanitarian aspects of helping people. I have been here almost a year and have found the staff to be very friendly. The location is in the fastest growing area of Western Pennsylvania which is between Cranberry & Zelienople PA. The commute is easy due to: the rural location, the focal point of several major highways and plenty of free parking. The building is brand new, state-of-the-art, and offers a very clean, high-tech working environment.

Cons

There are some growing pains which are normal for a small company.

Excellent mentors will help you work through projects that you take charge of and are interested in. Every employee is incredibly friendly and willing to assist with any questions. Overall, an amazing experience that showcases what it means to be part of the manufacturing process.

Cons

If you are not a self-starter, or are someone who needs constant direction then this internship might not be for you.
