Pros

There are Cero pros.

Cons

Un monton de cons! I'm not one to write reviews, especially those that are negative as I have much better ways to spend my time, but in this case, I'm writing because my time at Kubica was one of the most unfavorable experiences I've had yet in my professional career, and I want to save you from going through the hell that I unfortunately had to go through. A short time after I left Kubica to pursue an opportunity with an amazing, and innovative company, I received a letter from the Kubica's lawyer saying I worked for a competitor, which I don't. It also stated that I was not to solicit any of their employees, which I'd never do that because, well, I work for a company that is in an entirely different industry. The lawyers were trying to get me to sign arbitrary documents, and essentially harassing and trying to threaten my career. For an engineering company, they clearly didn't do there research - it was a scare tactic that didn't work. I honestly felt bad for the lawyers, that they had to waste their time on nonsensical things. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I didn't have a non-compete. my point here, beware of the employee agreement. Honestly, do yourself a favor, beware of the company. I almost forgot! The lawyers also were asking if I handed over all of my "Kubica property." What! What I'm getting at with that last point, I wasn't off-boarded. Of course, I I gave everything back, but there are still so many things that I have access to. I worked very hard to launch many initiatives during my time at Kubica, and they are doing a really poor job at keep anything I started, up. The company is barely on the maps, they focus their attention in the wrong direction. Its so sad. To this day, I can't believe I accepted their offer. So many people warned me of the company and the leadership. I should have listened. While we are talking about offers and compensation, another thing to keep in mind, they overpay their employees. That't their tactic for hooking you, high salaries. Then if you try and leave, it's more difficult secure a job that will pay you what Kubica was paying you. Luckily, I was able to negotiate and land a comparable salary. The last thing I'm going to mention, the company values and principles are built from novels the CEO and his wife read. They don't care about their people. They also think they have this amazing recruiting process, but they don't. Its lengthy and not effective, and turnover is incredibly high. I could go on, but I won't. I can finally breathe, laugh and rest easy knowing I never have to step foot into that place again. Ok, one last thing, for real this time. The CEO, CFO and COO are always traveling, either to Italy or to a local golf course, they're never working. Meanwhile, the poor engineers are trying to keep the business a float. Their business and (lack of) leadership is simply the worst. Stay away from the toxic nonsense. There are so many great companies in the area, with phenomenal leaders, and Kubica is not one of those companies. Cheers to the future, without kubica.

Pros

I worked at Kubica as an entry-level controls engineer and truly enjoyed my experience. My coworkers were incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help with any question I had. I felt fully supported at every step, which made learning and growing in my role so much easier. The work environment was welcoming and collaborative, and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great place to work.

Cons

None, they are transparent in the interview process with everything you are getting into. No surprises.

Pros

- Great culture. - You will get a sense that the people at Kubica care about each other. The company also promotes the concept of creating opportunities for each other, which I really like. - Competitive pay and some financial incentives. - Great health care plan. - You're able to gain a lot of experience with various technologies and roles. - If you asked ten people in your field at different companies whether or not they like, respect, and care about every single person on their work team, how many do think you would say yes? I can genuinely say that I feel this way about my team at Kubica.

Cons

- (This is not really a con, but) if you are looking for a position where you can "coast" or do the bare minimum, you will likely not fit in, or at least will not enjoy working at Kubica. - There isn't much provided in terms of formal training. This can be daunting in certain situations (but not necessarily a bad thing in others). You must be able to learn quickly.
